Alex Michelsen meets Nishesh Basavareddy once again as the two talented young Americans who know each other so well, will face other in the quarter-finals in Auckland.

The pair did play at the Next Gen Finals just several weeks ago and it was Michelsen who won that three sets to one in the shortened format of first to four games. That will give him confidence against Basavareddy and he will want to put a marker down in their first meeting of 2025.
