Alex Michelsen vs Miomir Kecmanovic Prediction

Alex Michelsen showed great maturity on Friday as he beat Cam Norrie 7-6 7-5. That came after Norrie had eliminated in Dallas last week and in what was another hard-fought battle, Michelsen just had the edge to inflict defeat on the Brit.

That will give Michelsen a real boost in confidence that he will look to carry into Saturday’s semi-final clash with Serb Miomir Kecmanovic.

The 25-year-old was up against it in his quarter-final tie as Marcos Giron took the first set 6-2. Kecmanovic bounced back in style however to win the next two sets 6-4 6-2 and make it through.

The pair have never met before on the ATP Tour and that should make for a fascinating match to see how their styles collide. 

We just about edge Michelsen to get the win here. He is a player that relishes playing in America with all three of his final appearances coming in his homeland. We expect him to just edge what could be another really tight match here.
