Alex Michelsen comes off an excellent win over Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round so his confidence is sky high ahead of his second-round match.

The talented young American won in four sets and now he meets Australia’s James McCabe who he has played once before and that came in this tournament last year. Michelsen won that match in four sets also.

McCabe won his first-round match in straight sets against Spaniard Martin Landaluce and it was an impressive performance. He can expect a sterner test here but if he can repeat those levels, he can pose Michelsen some issues.

Michelsen ultimately should be a class above however. It would be no surprise if McCabe won a set or even two as he will be spurred on by the home support but we expect Michelsen to get the win and progress.
