Lorenzo Musetti is on course to crack the top ten for the first time after clinching a tight 7-5 7-6 win over Stefanos Tsitsipas. 

The Italian continues to soar on clay so far this year, following up his run to the final in Monte Carlo with some impressive work in the Spanish capital. 

Alex de Minaur stands in his way of another Masters 1000 quarter-final, with the Aussie resisting Denis Shapovalov’s power to prevail 6-3 7-6. 

Musetti leads the head-to-head 2-1 and has won the last two, including a 1-6 6-4 7-6 victory in the last four in Monte Carlo recently. 

Both players are in superb form, and it should be a spectacular watch, but when it comes down to the fine margins Musetti may well have the edge on the dirt once again.
