Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard Prediction

Aleksandar Kovacevic is coming off a fantastic couple of weeks on the Challenger Tour where he won the Oeiras II in Portugal and then finished runner-up in the Open Occitanie last week to Felix Auger-Aliassime.

He now comes to Rotterdam hoping to enjoy another positive week but he has been handed an incredibly tough assignment as he faces Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

The big-serving Frenchman looked good in the Brisbane International before the Aussie Open before he was eliminated by the in-form Reilly Opelka in the semis there. He then lost a five-set thriller to Gael Monfils in Melbourne and he has not played since. 

He will be fresh and ready to go here and while he does not have overly great form or momentum behind him, there were some really positive signs at the back end of last year and in Brisbane. We like his chances of doing well this week and he should be more than capable of over-powering Kovacevic.
