Alejandro Davidovich Fokina vs Miomir Kecmanovic Prediction
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has improved with every round as the opponents have gotten stronger and he has produced the goods every time. He played incredibly well to overcome top seed and defending champion Taylor Fritz in the quarters and then he was top drawer once again in beating in-form Matteo Arnaldi in the semis.
He now takes on Miomir Kecmanovic and he will be hoping to beat him for the first time at the third time of asking. They have met twice before and the Serb won both times albeit in 2019 and 2022.
Kecmanovic has been in excellent form himself and his confidence is high after beating Marcos Giron and then Alex Michelsen in the semis.
There is very little to choose between the two players coming into this final and we sway back and forth as to which player we think will win. Kecmanovic’s success against Davidovich Fokina in previous meetings perhaps makes us lean towards him a touch but the Spaniard has beaten some quality opponents this week with the toughest run to the final.
We like the chances of this one going the distance. Neither is a big server and there we see a back and forth battle so consider game betting in this one.
