Alaves vs Espanyol Prediction
Deportivo Alaves took the fairly bizarre and surprising decision to sack Luis Garcia Plaza in early December and his replacement, former Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Coudet, is now himself under pressure. The hosts most recently shared a thrilling 3-3 draw with Leganes at Butarque last weekend, meaning they have managed just one victory in their last 13 matches across all competitions. They face an Espanyol side that started the season predictably slowly following their promotion to the top-flight last season but the Catalans have been much-improved of late with a 1-1 draw at San Mames against Athletic last weekend making it just one defeat in seven matches across all competitions. Given the form of the two sides, a double chance bet in favour of the away team looks the way to go for this one.
Alaves vs Espanyol Tip: Double chance – Espanyol to win or draw
