Al Ittihad Team News: Nothing fresh

Al Hilal Team News: Full-back issues

Due to injuries at full-back, Al Hilal have had to switch between systems this season as they search for their relentless consistency from last season. Joao Cancelo remains sidelined alongside left-back duo Renan Lodi and Yasser Al Shahrani.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Bono; Al Yami, Tambakti, Al Bulaihi, Al Harbi; Neves, Milinkovic-Savic; Kaio, Malcom, Al Dawsari; Marcos Leonardo

Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal Prediction

Al Ittihad’s resurgence this season has come in large part due to their effective and cohesive front four of Karim Benzema, Houssem Aouar and the aforementioned wing duo of Bergwijn and Diaby. Three of those four got on the scoresheet last weekend as they hammered Al Wehda by four goals to one. Al Hilal were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Al Riyadh last week, prior to their 2-0 defeat of Al Wasl in the AFC Champions League the other day, to leave the defending champions sitting four points behind their upcoming opponents. The hosts seem steadier and more settled as we head into this clash and there will be value in siding against last season’s invincibles.

Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal Tip: Double chance – Al Ittihad to win or draw
