It has been a really average start to the season for one of the so-called ‘big four’ Al Ahli as they stick by Matthias Jaissle in the dugout for now ahead of facing an Al Raed sitting below them on goal difference ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.

AL AHLI VS AL RAED PREDICTION

Matthias Jaissle, formerly of Red Bull Salzburg, has come under intense pressure and scrutiny as one of the richest four clubs in Saudi Arabia languish in ninth ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. The hosts were beaten 1-0 by Al Ittihad last weekend. They now face an Al Raed side that were also beaten as they suffered a 4-0 loss to Al Khaleej. These two have, quite remarkably, picked up the same amount of points but an Al Ahli win is still to be expected, especially with their home advantage.
