The two teams that finished at the top of the ladder during the regular season will meet in the AFL Grand Final as minor premiers Collingwood take on Brisbane Lions. Both teams have been excellent this season with them combining for just 11 losses. The Magpies were pushed all the way by GWS Giants last week but they held on by a solitary point in a win that showed they have the character as well as quality to land the big prize. For the Lions, they were too good for Carlton but with all of their defeats this season coming away from home, a trip to the MCG could prove to be problematic for them so slight preference is with Collingwood to claim the title.
