THE PREDICTION
West Coast Eagles have the chance to solidify their spot in the top
eight but it will not be an easy task as they take on Melbourne. The
Eagles suffered a shock defeat to Collingwood last week and will be
desperate to respond as the chasing pack close in on the spot they
currently occupy in the race to make the finals. The Demons on the other
hand hammered Gold Coast Suns to claim a victory for the first time in
three matches and with Western Bulldogs and Geelong Cats both losing
this weekend, a win here would send Melbourne to the top of the ladder.
They have lost their last four matches against the Eagles but after such
an impressive display last week coupled with some real incentive, the
Demons can do what is required to put one hand on the minor premiership.
