THE PREDICTION
Melbourne enjoyed the week off with the minor premiers overcoming the
challenge of Brisbane Lions in the first week of the finals and they
will now look to book their spot in the Grand Final as they take on
Geelong Cats. The Demons have won their last five matches which has seen
them end the season strongly but it will mean very little unless they
seal the Premiership. The Cats can pose them problems here however,
having produced a brilliant display to see off GWS Giants last week as
they avoided a third straight defeat and ultimately, an exit from the
competition. Geelong are more than capable of winning this one but the
Demons’ consistent form is difficult to overlook and they can make it
three successive victories over the Cats.
