THE PREDICTION
Melbourne ended the regular season as minor premiers and they will be
looking to build on that success in their first match of the finals
against Brisbane Lions. The Demons ended their regular campaign with
four straight success which culminated in them defeating Geelong Cats to
seal top spot on the ladder. They now come up against a Brisbane outfit
with three successive wins to their name and they managed to win all of
those in impressive fashion, hitting treble figures in each of those
successes. This will be a much tougher task however and the Demons can
make it back-to-back victories against the Lions having won their
previous clash earlier in the season.
