THE PREDICTION
GWS Giants, not for the first time this season, demonstrated their
ability to beat the best teams in the AFL as they overcame in-form
Geelong Cats to boost their hopes of making the finals. They will now
need to back that up with another tough test as they come up against
reigning champions Richmond. The Tigers secured an important win of
their own last week by seeing off North Melbourne to keep their own
play-off hopes alive but the Giants will not want to surrender eighth
spot without a fight and if they can perform anywhere close to the level
they reached last week, they should make it back-to-back wins.
