THE PREDICTION
Melbourne suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Collingwood last
week and the side at the top of the ladder will be keen to respond to
just their second loss of the year. They take on an Essendon side who
will be no pushovers having won four of their last five matches, their
most recent coming against Hawthorn last week. They have performed well
of late to put their early season form behind them but with the Demons
set to be in a determined mood after their poor showing against the
Magpies, it would be a surprise if Melbourne failed to make an immediate
return to winning ways.
