THE PREDICTION
Collingwood produced an underwhelming campaign last time around as they finished in eighth spot and despite winning their first game in the finals, they could not back it up the following week. They will hope for better this season and that begins with an opening clash against Western Bulldogs. They finished just one better on the ladder but were defeated in their only game of the finals as they too will feel they did not hit the heights that they were capable of. The pair will be eager to get off to a good start here but with the Magpies winning the last four contests between the two, it is the home side that should prevail here.
