Adrian Mannarino vs Karen Khachanov Prediction
Adrian Mannarino has made it past the first round in each of the last four Australian Open tournaments since 2020, but has been dealt a tough draw this year, which puts that streak under severe threat. Mannarino enters Melbourne having struggled in the ASB Classic in Auckland, losing to Mariano Navone in the round of 32.
Karen Khachanov couldn't replicate his semi-final finish in 2022 during the 2023 Australian Open as he was defeated by eventual winner Jannik Sinner in the fourth round. But Khachanov comes into 2025 in promising form, winning the Almaty Open in October and reaching the 2024 Erste Bank Open immediately afterwards.
Momentum is in Khachanov’s favour here and he’s played some excellent Tennis on the outdoor hard courts of the Australian Open over the past couple of years. With that in mind, back him to get the better of Mannarino.
