The Prediction

The Crows have been flying high to start the season, boasting an impressive forward line that's been giving opposition defenders nightmares. Their three-pronged attack of Riley Thilthorpe, Darcy Fogarty, and Taylor Walker has been firing on all cylinders, with Fogarty and Thilthorpe sitting pretty in the top three of the Coleman Medal race. The Crows have been piling on the goals, kicking a whopping 46 in just two matches.

North Melbourne, on the other hand, are coming off a surprise thumping of Melbourne, winning by 59 points at Marvel Stadium. The Roos will be keen to prove that wasn't a fluke and build some momentum early in the season.

History doesn't bode well for the Kangaroos, though. Adelaide have had the edge over North in recent times, winning their last six encounters by an average margin of 52 points. The Roos have also never tasted victory at Adelaide Oval against the Crows.

The weather looks set to play nice, so we can expect a fast-paced, high-scoring affair. Given Adelaide's red-hot form and home ground advantage, they'll go in as favourites. But write off North Melbourne at your peril – they've shown they can match it with the best on their day.
