The prediction

The Adelaide Crows come off the match of the round against the Gold Coast Suns and, despite going down in a nail-biter, will head into this “Gather round” clash with some level of confidence against the Geelong Cats.

Geelong have won two and lost two to kick off the season and are uncharacteristically sitting mid-table. A solid victory against the Demons followed a narrow loss in Brisbane, so despite mixed form they will head into this showdown in Adelaide with some degree of confidence. The Cats have struggled for points this year and will look to spearheads Jeremy Cameron and Patrick Dangerfield up front.

Geelong have won seven of the past eight matches between the two sides, many of them by comfortable margins. We expect the occasion to produce a quality game of football with the Cats’ experienced players stepping up when it counts in front of a big Adelaide crowd.
