AC Milan Preview: Frustrated Rossoneri

Paulo Fonseca is currently feeling the heat in charge of AC Milan. Many Rossoneri supporters were dubious about his appointment over the summer and the former Lille boss is now coming under further pressure as the seven-time European champions sit outside the top seven.

The home team come into this one on the back of a 1-0 win against Hellas Verona at the Marcantonio Bentegodi last weekend thanks a 56th minute winner from in-form Netherlands international midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.

Roma Preview: Ranieri’s Roma

Claudio Ranieri came out of retirement during the November international break to replace Ivan Juric, who had only been in charge for a month or so following the sacking of club legend Daniele De Rossi. The Romans were in a genuine relegation battle but have been improved.

The Giallorossi come into this one on the back of three victories in their last four matches across all competitions. Paulo Dybala notched a brace in that match with the visitors also scoring via Alexis Saelemaekers, Leandro Paredes and Artem Dovbyk.

AC Milan vs Roma Prediction

AC Milan and Paulo Fonseca want to play a progressive and proactive style of football but they have been left frustrated at times this season and with so many injury issues, especially in the final third, that will likely further hamper them. Claudio Ranieri immediately improved the performance level of the Romans with the visitors now enjoying improved results. Given that, as well as the fragility of the hosts, a double chance bet in favour of the Giallorossi could well be good value here at San Siro.

AC Milan vs Roma Tip: Double chance – Roma to win or draw
