ZHIZHEN ZHANG VS YUNCHAOKETE BU PREDICTION
Zhizhen Zhang will have had high hopes coming into this tournament that he could go all the way as the number six seed and his last two performances have only heightened that expectation.
He comfortably beat Roberto Carballes Baena 6-3 6-3 in Sunday’s quarter-final and that came after he dominated Mattia Bellucci in the round of 16 6-3 6-0.
He now meets compatriot Yunchaokete Bu and this will be a fascinating match-up. They have yet to meet on the ATP Tour as the 22-year-old has not featured that much on tour so far but he will come into this clash with confidence.
He beat Mikhail Kukushkin 6-4 6-2 on Sunday and he was very comfortable throughout and that came off a three-set win over second seed Karen Khachanov.
There will be plenty of national pride at stake between these two and we fancy that it will bring the best out of the more experienced Zhizhen Zhang. Expect him to put a marker down and progress to the final.
