YUNCHAOKETE BU VS LORENZO MUSETTI PREDICTION
Yunchaokete Bu has enjoyed a good fortnight as he reached the semi-finals in the Hangzhou Open last week and now looks to make the quarters in Beijing. The 22-year-old beat compatriot Juncheng Shang in the first round over three sets and now faces a tough assignment in the in-form Italian.
Musetti lost to Juncheng Shang in the final of the Chengdu Open last week but that should not take anything away from his excellent week. He edged past Zizou Bergs in the first round over three sets and will have to be at his best to get the win here.
Musetti has been the better player in 2024 but Bu will have home support and arguably the edge in motivation. It is however hard to bet against Musetti and assuming he is sufficiently focused, he should still get the win and progress.
