YANNICK HANFMANN VS PEDRO MARTINEZ PREDICTION

Yannick Hanfmann beat the monstrous-serving Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the round of 16 and the German is playing quite well of late. Not only has he progressed through two rounds here, but he did well in the Davis Cup two weeks ago winning both of his matches for his nation including a straight-sets win over Alejandro Tabilo.

He now meets Spaniard Pedro Martinez who is seeded fourth this week and beat Aleksandar Vukic 6-3 6-4 in his opening match. It was a more dominant performance than that scoreline suggested as he only converted three of 11 break points and won 65 points compared to Vukic’s 48.

Coming into this tournament, his form has been abysmal however so that win was more than welcome. This will be a fair test for him as Hanfmann is playing well right now.
