YANNICK HANFMANN VS JUNCHENG SHANG PREDICTION
Yannick Hanfmann overcame fourth seed Pedro Martinez in straight sets on Saturday to continue his fine run of form in recent weeks. The German has continued his strong from and is playing with plenty of confidence right now.
He will need all of that belief as he comes up against the talented 19-year-old Juncheng Shang – a player 13 years his junior – who is in excellent form in his native China.
He beat the second seed Alexander Bublik in the quarter-finals 6-4 7-6 and produced a really strong all-round display. He has the local support on his side and the youngster is clearly super motivated to go all the way this week.
That will not be quite so simple against Hanfmann however. The German is in strong form and the betting value is on him coming into this one. This could well go to three sets and our preferred play is on the number of games and expect the sets to be long and at least a tiebreak.
