TOMMY PAUL VS ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT PREDICTION
It has been an impressive week so far for 12th seed Tommy Paul and he is getting better with every match he has played. His most comfortable and dominant performance came last time out as he overcame Alexander Bublik in straight sets in the third round on Friday and he will be eyeing a place in the quarters.
To do that, he will have to beat Spanish veteran Roberto Bautista Agut who has done well to get to the fourth round himself. The second half of his match against Fabio Fognini was pushed into Saturday due to the rain on Friday and Bautista Agut did exceptionally well to win the last two sets to edge a five-set thriller.
Bautista Agut leads the head-to-head 3-2 but it is Paul who has won the last two meetings in 2022 and 2023. Paul is playing some good tennis right now and after a busy week, expect the workload to catch up on Bautista Agut’s 36-year-old legs and expect Paul to ease to victory.
