TOMMY PAUL VS LORENZO MUSETTI PREDICTION
The second most prestigious grass tournament comes to a finale on Sunday with American Tommy Paul meeting Italian Lorenzo Musetti. The pair have never met before so there is little to go on in terms of history and measuring against each other but fifth seed Paul simply has to be favoured.
The American’s career is clearly on an upward trajectory in the last 18 months and he has looked impressive this week especially. His wins over Jack Draper in the quarters and then Sebastian Korda in the semis will have prepared him perfectly for the challenge he will face here.
22-year-old Musetti should not be underestimated and has been playing well on grass so far this summer. He has had the easier route to the final however and while we fully expect him to compete hard, Paul should just have too much all-round quality for him and expect the American to win in straight sets.
