TAYLOR FRITZ VS CHRISTOPHER O’CONNELL PREDICTION
A quarter-finalist back in 2022, American Taylor Fritz will be hoping for another good run at Wimbledon this year in what is arguably the most open men’s tournament for years. Fritz is an offensive baseliner and with his array of powerful attacking shots, he will be confident of possessing too much for O’Connell.
They met once before on the ATP Tour and that was very much the case. In 2023, Fritz beat O’Connell on clay at the ATP Masters 1000 in Madrid and with his big serve, that will benefit him even more so on the Wimbledon grass. Fritz warmed up nicely for the event by winning Eastbourne in the week prior to Wimbledon and that will give him even more confidence to get off to a winning start here.
