ROBERTO CARBALLES BAENA VS ALEXANDER ZVEREV PREDICTION
Alexander Zverev gets his Wimbledon campaign under way on a surface which he has notoriously found difficult. After reaching the final at Roland Garros and losing in heartbreaking fashion after leading Carlos Alcaraz 2-1 at one stage, Zverev only returned to action at Halle two weeks ago to get some action under his belt on this surface. He had a solid enough week before losing in the semis to Hubert Hurkacz but it was not a week to fill you with confidence that he will go far in this event.
That said, he should simply have too much for 31-year-old Roberto Carballes Baena. The Spaniard has not had much success in any of the Grand Slam tournaments but grass has certainly not been a surface that has suited him. He is unlikely to cause too many problems to Zverev here and a straight sets win is on the cards for Sascha.
