NOVAK DJOKOVIC VS JANNIK SINNER PREDICTION
Novak Djokovic returns to action after reaching the Shanghai Masters final last week and he will be keen to put on a show in Riyadh Season. The Serb was disappointed to lose to Sinner in that final but it is a testament to his quality that he can select his tournaments he plays in as he manages his workload yet still go all the way.
He will not overly relish facing Sinner once again with the Italian having won their last three meetings and four of the last five. Overall the head-to-head sits at four wins apiece but it is the most recent matches that are telling.
Sinner is playing at an incredibly high level right now and he shows no sign of slowing down. He dominated Medvedev in the quarter-finals on Wednesday and despite this being considered an exhibition, he is clearly taking it seriously.
It is hard to make a case for Djokovic based on recent form and recent meetings. Sinner is just playing that well that unless he eases off the gas, he has Djokovic’s number right now.
