NICOLAS JARRY VS HOLGER RUNE PREDICTION

Nicolas Jarry is desperately trying to regain some form but it is not quite happening for him right now. After being usurped as Chilean number one by Alejandro Tabilo, Jarry has been incredibly active as he looks to rise back up the rankings following injuries.

Since reaching the final in the ATP 1000 event in Rome back in May, Jarry has won just two matches in the 10 tournaments he has played in.

Holger Rune was fortunate to be invited to the Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia last week and the talented Dane earned big money from appearing in the exhibition. He played one game and was comfortably beaten by world number one Jannik Sinner, but Rune will move swiftly on from that.

Whether his motivation is there as he returns to Europe will remain to be seen and that has been an issue at times for Rune.

This draw should give Rune the perfect opportunity to get a win under his belt and build some momentum in Basel. It is hard to see Jarry having enough to trouble him and Rune should get the job done.
