NICOLAS JARRY VS DENIS SHAPOVALOV PREDICTION

There are plenty of question marks over both players coming into this game with Nicolas Jarry returning to fitness from injury while Denis Shapovalov remains incredibly inconsistent despite clearly possessing the quality.

Grass certainly suits Shapovalov’s style and his semi-final appearance in 2021 at this event remains his best ever performance at a Grand Slam. The speed and weather conditions will certainly favour the Canadian and work against Jarry and that could be decisive. Jarry does possess a big serve and that could well pose Shapovalov’s fragile backhand return serious problems.

However, it is hard to see Jarry firing on all cylinders with so little preparation coming into Wimbledon and that makes us favour Shapovalov in what could well be a five-set thriller.
