THE PREDICTION
27-year-old Nicolas Jarry could break the top 30 on tour for the first time after reaching his first ever second week at a Grand Slam with a four-set victory over Marcos Giron. The Chilean won the second ATP title of his career on home clay in Santiago back in February and he claimed the third in Geneva two weeks ago, upsetting the likes of Casper Ruud, Alexander Zverev and Grigor Dimitrov, to take a seven-match winning streak into this rematch with the Norwegian. World number four Ruud came back from a set down to oust in-form Zhizhen Zhang on Saturday but he has not looked totally in sync with himself throughout this season. The 24-year-old finished runner-up to Rafael Nadal here last season and whilst he reached the semi-finals in Rome last month there have been several strange results amongst his strong runs on his favoured clay. Sets have gone both ways in both of their previous meetings to suggest this could be a god candidate for five sets on Monday. Back Jarry to win at least two of them with one of the best records on clay on tour right now.
