Miomir Kecmanovic was due to face Lloyd Harris in this round of 32 encounter but the South African has withdrawn so Adam Walton gets the call as a lucky loser. The Australian was beaten in three sets on Sunday in the qualifiers by Mattia Bellucci and he now has an even tougher assignment in facing Kecmanovic.
The 24-year-old Serb Kecmanovic will be eager to do well this week in the States. Prior to Wimbledon his form had been pretty poor but reaching the third round will have given him confidence before losing to world number one Jannik Sinner. Kecmanovic needs to get some momentum going again now and this should offer him the perfect opportunity.
