This should be an interesting rematch between Marton Fucsovics and Jannik Sinner after the Italian had to come back from two sets down to win their third round meeting at the Australian Open last month. World number 69 Fucsovics would have been home and dry in a three-set format like today’s encounter and after a torrid season last year the Hungarian looks to be enjoying himself on court again with at least some belief that he can cause an upset here. World number 17 Sinner is coming in a little cold as the second seed, receiving a bye to the round of 16, but a five-set defeat to Stefanos Tsitsipas in the round of 16 at the Australian Open is no embarrassment and if he can find even 80% of his level that day this should eventually fall his way. The pair share a 2-2 head-to-head record so far but Sinner did win their only three-set format match at the Sofia Open back in 2020, on his way to the title there. Back the Italian to win outright.
