MARCOS GIRON VS SEBASTIAN BAEZ PREDICTION
Marcos Giron and Sebastian Baez meet on Tuesday for what should be a really good competitive encounter. They have met once before which Baez won on clay last year but Giron will fancy his chances more on hard courts like Cincinnati.
Giron has had some good performances on hard courts this year. He reached the final in Dallas and the semis in Delray Beach back in February. He was eliminated in the first round in Montreal last week but won the Newport ATP 250 on grass just a month ago so his confidence will be reasonably good right.
Baez really is a clay court specialist and he is another player who prioritises those competitions over any other surface wherever possible. Baez has very few good performances on hard surfaces of note and we prefer Giron to edge this and move into the second round.
