MADISON KEYS VS RENATA ZARAZUA PREDICTION
29-year-old Madison Keys moved back up to world number 12 after winning her ninth WTA title at the Strasbourg Open last week without dropping a set. The American stopped an exhausted Danielle Collins in the final to build on what has been a hugely impressive clay swing so far, all the more superlative given she missed the first few months of 2024 through injury, and it took world number one Iga Swiatek to oust here at Masters events in Madrid and Rome.
World number 102 Renata Zarazua reached the semi-finals of the Parma Challenger last week and she will have been hopeful of a strong run here before drawing Keys. The 26-year-old will give a good account of herself on her favoured surface but back Keys, whose mentality at majors is well renowned, to come through in straight sets.
