LLOYD HARRIS VS ALEX MICHELSEN PREDICTION
This matchup between Lloyd Harris and Alex Michelsen on day one of Wimbledon promises to be one of the more intriguing matches to get the championships under way.
Lloyd Harris has had a number of injury issues to overcome from a disrupted 2023 but he is showing some really positive signs that he is getting back to something like this best. He came through three rounds of qualifiers to reach the first round and that comes after playing some good tennis to win the Surbiton on the Challenger Tour at the start of June and playing well at Nottingham and Ilkley. The commitment to those events shows that Harris means business and will serve him well this week.
He faces a talented American 19-year-old in Alex Michelsen and the youngster will be eager to spring an upset here. He looked to be playing pretty well in Mallorca last week but this is a different test and a different level. Harris should simply have too much for him and while we should not rule out Michelsen potentially snatching a set, expect Harris to ease to victory eventually.
