The 35-year-old takes strong form from finishing runner-up in the Women’s Doubles at Indian Wells, where she and Beatriz Haddad-Maia lost to Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova in a deciding tiebreak, through to this second round clash and she was the winner the last time she faced Badosa, beating the Spaniard in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals of Roland-Garros back in 2020.
