KEI NISHIKORI VS ARTHUR RINDERKNECH PREDICTION

Kei Nishikori has been plagued by injury this year and his preparation for Wimbledon has been hampered as a result. Following the shoulder injury which ended his French Open campaign prematurely, the Japanese star withdrew from the Rothesay International at Eastbourne due to an ankle problem. With that in mind, Arthur Rinderknech must see this as a real chance to capitalise on a potentially undercooked Nishikori.

What the two-time Wimbledon quarter-finalist does have in his favour though is Rinderknech has been eliminated in the first round in each of the last three years. Grass is not his best surface and may prove to be his undoing again. Therefore, backing a win for Nishikori appears the sensible move.
