World number 105 Olga Danilovic would also break new ground with victory here and the Serb also brings strong momentum from an impressive qualifying round and a comfortable straight-sets victory over Kateryna Baindl on Tuesday. This looks one of the trickier matches to call on Thursday as Danilovic’s game could benefit from the windy conditions if she can put it out of Paolini’s reach.
