JACK DRAPER VS TOMAS MACHAC PREDICTION

Jack Draper is playing outstanding tennis right now and the 22-year-old Brit has won all three of his matches so far in straight sets. His win in the third round and Novak Djokovic’s victor Botic van de Zandschulp was particular impressive. The Dutchman was sharp and competed well but Draper just had his number throughout and never let him build up any momentum.

Draper now meets Czechia’s Tomas Machac and the pair have met once before on the ATP Tour. That came earlier this year in Geneva on clay and it was Machac who emerged victorious. They also met on the Challenger Tour twice and Machac won both of those so he will be confident coming into this one.

Machac has beaten all three of his opponents in straight sets also and has not given any of them a sniff. Not a single set has gone to a tiebreak such has been Machac’s dominance.

This really does look like a really even match-up on paper and the match itself will likely play out that way. Draper is the favourite and we have been more impressed with his performances this week but our preference is on over 3.5 sets here.
