JACK DRAPER VS HOLGER RUNE PREDICTION
While Jack Draper openly admits he has found it tough in the Cincinnati heat, the Brit goes from strength to the strength as he now faces a quarter-final clash with Holger Rune. Draper has played three consecutive three-setters spending significant time on court but that has not phased him as he has beaten Jaume Munar, Stefanos Tsitsipas and most recently Felix Auger-Aliassime.
He now meets Rune who he has never met before and this promises to be another tough assignment.
The 21-year-ols Dane, one year junior of Draper, has had an impressive week so far himself. He has beaten Matteo Berrettini, Nuno Borges and Gael Monfils en route to the quarters and now Draper stands in his way for a place in the semis.
There are many similarities between the two players and it would be no surprise if this ends up being another see-saw battle. It is hard to make a case for either player dominating for long enough to win in straight sets so over 2.5 sets is appealing here.
