IGA SWIATEK VS LEOLIA JEANJEAN PREDICTION
World number one Iga Swiatek is by far and away the stand-out favourite to lift a fourth Roland-Garros title in two weeks’ time, with only the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and perhaps bogey player (and former champion) Jelena Ostapenko capable of stopping her in her favoured conditions.
The Pole, who will turn 23 next week, brings a formidable 12-match winning streak on clay into Roland-Garros after winning both Masters events in Madrid and Rome, beating world number two Sabalenka in both finals to exact her dominance of this surface.
World number 143 Leolia Jeanjean missed out on a home wildcard but she was carried through qualifying on raucous partisan support to earn her short stay. The 28-year-old will once again be backed to the hilt by the home crowd but expect Swiatek to hand her something from her famous bakery in a comfortable straight-sets win.
