IGA SWIATEK VS ENA SHIBAHARA PREDICTION
Although Iga Swiatek didn’t drop a set in the first round, a final score of 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) reflects how difficult it was for her and she’ll need to improve in this next match. Ena Shibahara came through a three-set thriller over Daria Saville 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (10-6) and whilst that result will have given her a huge boost in confidence leading into this one, it no doubt will have taken a lot out of Shibahara physically with a short turnaround between games.
Momentum can be a big factor in Tennis and the adrenaline garnered through her last win should help Shibahara really make this a tough contest for Swiatek, who will have to grind her way through. Whilst the class of the former US Open champion should eventually tell, Swiatek is likely to drop a significant number of games, so back her to win but with over 16.5 total games played.
