HUGO GASTON VS MATTEO BERRETTINI PREDICTION
Matteo Berrettini is enjoying a fine run of form right now and he is one player who is looking fitter and fresher than many others after returning from injury and hitting form. He has looked strong in recent weeks and won the Swiss Open in Gstaad last week. He now looks to follow up on that success with another ATP 250 title here.
He faces Hugo Gaston who has also been playing some great tennis this week. He beat the defending champion Sebastian Baez in the quarters and was en route to a comfortable win over Facundo Diaz ion Friday in the semis before his opponent withdrew. He will fancy his chances of upsetting Berrettini but he has not faced anybody of the Italian’s class this week.
Unless Berrettini eases off the gas, which there are no signs of him doing, the Italian has to be favoured to get the win here. He is playing some great tennis and is a class above anything else in this tournament. Expect him to pick up another title here.
