HUBERT HURKACZ VS FLAVIO COBOLLI PREDICTION
Hubert Hurkacz enters the round of 16 and will genuinely think he can go deep in the tournament in Cincinnati this week. He had a tough opening match against Yoshihito Nishioka which saw him fightback from a set down and now he faces another tough assignment against Flavio Cobolli.
Cobolli beat Tommy Paul in three sets in the first round and then was edging out compatriot Luciano Darderi in the second round before Darderi retired. Cobolli has been playing well in the last few weeks in North America and his confidence is high.
This will be fascinating game however and one we expect Hurkacz to ultimately have the edge in. he conceded 19 break points against Nishiola but his big serve bailed him out at key moments. Cobolli’s key to victory will be in the return game and whether he can win enough points to upset and break Hurkacz. The big Pole should just about have enough though hold his serve and create enough on Cobolli’s to progress.
