GABRIEL DIALLO VS TOMMY PAUL PREDICTION
Gabriel Diallo is showing no signs of slowing down and this is after having played five matches to reach this stage. The Canadian youngster went through three rounds of qualifying and has then beaten Jaume Munar and Arthur Fils in two four-set matches.
He must now pick himself back up and go again versus Tommy Paul, the 14th seed. Paul comes off a good win over Max Purcell who retired while Paul was winning 7-5 6-0 1-0. Paul relishes this tournament and will be desperate to make it to the second week.
Paul will be fired up and will know he cannot underestimate Diallo. We would not rule out Diallo winning a set but Paul should just have too much savvy and quality all-round to make it through.
