World number 18 Karen Khachanov will be confident of reaching the round of 16 at the Italian Open as he takes on Francisco Cerundolo for the second time on clay this swing, with a three-set victory over the Argentine at this stage of the Monte-Carlo Masters last month his fourth on the spin in their surprisingly one-sided 4-0 head-to-head.
