FRANCES TIAFOE VS JIRI LEHECKA PREDICTION
Frances Tiafoe and Jiri Lehecka meet in the round of 16 and both come into this match in good shape having won their opening two matches in straight sets.
Tiafoe will be buoyed by his wins over Alejandro Davidovich and then Lorenzo Musetti. The win over 14th seed Musetti especially was impressive as he ran out 6-2 6-2 winner. He now faces Lehecka who he has met once before and beat him 7-6 6-4 on grass in Stuttgart last year.
Lehecka has shown he is fully fit following the stress fracture in his back and the Czech star is firing on all cylinders. He beat Mariano Navone 7-6 6-3 in the first round and then stunned Daniil Medvedev 7-6 6-4. That win will boost his confidence no end and he has picked up where he left off before his injury.
There is always the concern with Lehecka that his lack of time of court may catch up with him but he is playing some excellent tennis already. He is playing well and assuming his body stands up to it, we favour him to beat Tiafoe in what could go the distance.
