FLAVIO COBOLLI VS NOVAK DJOKOVIC PREDICTION
22-year-old Italian Flavio Cobolli has already beaten one veteran in Stan Wawrinka and he will now set his sights on another in the form of Novak Djokovic. He showed great character and determination in beating Wawrinka after losing the first set tiebreak as he fought back to win a second set tiebreak before winning the third 6-3.
He now faces Djokovic for the first time in his career and he will be fired up to challenge arguably the greatest ever player.
Djokovic got through his opening match against Alex Michelsen showing a little rust and he will hope more time on court will see him tune up further here. Cobolli will be eager to catch him cold so the young Italian will likely start fast much like Michelsen tried but ultimately, one would expect Djokovic to have too much quality for him.
With Djokovic hardly playing any tennis other than the major tournaments these days, the chance to catch him is early in these tournaments but whether Cobolli can take advantage of that, remains to be seen. We have to favour Djokovic to get the win and likely in straight sets.
